The pendant is painted in exquisite quality with tempera paints on a round abalone shell. This gorgeous single horse carriage driving scene is framed in beautiful detail which includes a lovely English cottage in the background.  The clouds and green grass add incredible detail and wonderful color. The artist's ability to paint minute detail in miniature is absolutely amazing and breathtaking. (I also have 16-inch sterling silver neckwires available if needed. They may be sold separately.) The colors of the abalone shine through to make this a stunning work of art. The pendant was painted this fall (2007). It is sure to amaze anyone who sees it, and the variety of color makes it compatible with many colors. The high-quality abalone has lovely depth and reflects a rich variety of colors when turned in the light. The photographs do not do the pendant justice, as it has to be seen to fully appreciate its beauty and detail.
