This item is a new, original oil painting on canvas by highly acclaimed artist Tatyana Chernova of St. Petersburg, Russia. The detail, colors, use of light, and composition are simply oustanding. Entitled 'A Corner in Prague,' the painting is a depiction of a wonderful scene from Prague, Tatyana's favorite city. The painting measures 16 inches tall by 20 inches wide (40 x 50 cm). It includes a frame (please see the last picture), although the frame would ship unattached to the painting for protection of the painting, and the painting would need to be placed in the frame after shipping. The frame adds size to the work, as it is 2 1/2 inches wide on each side, adding 5 inches to the width and height of the entire work. (Please see the last photograph in order to see the frame.)

This painting is a fantastic work of fine art! Tatyana loves to travel, and she has painted many gorgeous scenes from Prague. She only paints scenes which she has viewed herself in her travels.

About the artist: Tatyana Chernova is from St. Petersburg, Russia, where she graduated from the prestigious Muhin Academy of Art, one of the two best art universities in Russia. She has had many personal exhibitions in St. Petersburg and has participated for several years in the fall exhibitions of the Union of Russian Artists, of which she is a member.

Her work is in the private collections of art collectors in many countries, including Russia, Italy, the Czech Republic, Germany, Finland, Japan, and the United States. An avid traveler, her works depict scenes from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, and Egypt. Her style is superb, and her quality of work is highly acclaimed by art professors and critics. This painting will be a treasured piece for many generations. As I have observed contemporary art in Russia, Tatyana's work is the highest quality which I have seen. It is simply fantastic, and more beautiful than the pictures can convey.
